B8 Esports' mid laner Danil Dendi Ishutin told that high ping is a huge problem for his team. He said this in a post-match interview for the English-language studio. Recall that B8 are forced to play on American servers from Ukraine because the players are not allowed to leave the country.

According to Dendi, he and his teammates have to specially train to play with a delay so that it is easier to overcome these difficulties during competitive matches. The ping is so high that the Ukrainian eSportsman is unable to act effectively even on the lane, which is his strongest position.

"Ping is a big problem. At least for me. It's probably a little easier for the guys. I have a ping of 100, and I can say that on some heroes is quite difficult to play on. Also, laning is often difficult. We play CW on American servers to get in shape and get used to the ping. Every map I play  I get destroyed on the lane, and I think lane play is my forte. It makes me very sad, but we are adapting, including our draft picks. We're working hard to adjust to the ping and create a comfortable environment for ourselves, but it's still an issue," told Dendi.

The tournament operator PGL made an exception for B8 Esports, allowing the team to play in the DPC league from the territory of Ukraine due to a law recently adopted in the country.

At the time of writing, B8 Esports is tied for 4th place in DPC 2023 North America Division One with Sand King Gomez and Team DogChamp. B8 has 1 win and 2 losses, and the team's next match will take place on May 25 against Shopify Rebellion.
