Player Dendi from from B8 Dota 2
Bio
Danil Dendi Ishutin is a professional Dota 2 player from Ukraine. If you ask anyone familiar with Dota 2 long enough about who is the symbol or "face" of the game, the answer will most likely be the name of the legendary Dendi. Mentioning this player will cause a rush of warm emotions and nostalgia for the once great achievements of the Ukrainian team Natus Vincere.
Dendi was born and raised in Lviv, where his professional career began. It is noteworthy that he started one of the best miders in the world as a sapport, playing for the once famous DotA WG, Ks.int and DTS teams. He joined Natus Vincere - a tag whose name has been inseparable from the player's name for a long time - at the end of 2010.
Dendi's name immediately became legendary in Dota 2, as the player started his journey with a big win - 1st place at The International 2011. The $1 million in prize money earned by Natus Vincere was an unheard of amount for that time, which attracted fans to the game and to the person of the champion team's midranger. At the next The International 2012 the team almost managed to repeat last year's success: Dendi and company took the 2nd place at this tournament, losing to Invictus Gaming.
The final of The International 2013 was one of the most famous and significant clashes of professional teams, which was later called el clasico of the Dota world: Natus Vincere again took the 2nd place, losing on the fifth map to Alliance, or rather to Puck from s4, who knocked down teleports. The semi-final of this tournament was almost as memorable for fans: thanks to hooks under the fountain from Dendi's signature Pudge, Natus Vincere was able to defeat TongFu and reach the final despite a poor start to the 3rd map.
After a disappointing performance at The International 2014 (7th-8th place) and the kicking of Puppey and KuroKy, Natus Vincere went through a "black streak": neither squad was able to return to their former results. Up until 2018, Dendy was the key player of the team and worked more for the media component of the organization: he took part in the show-match of The International 2015, going on stage in a Pudge costume, created a meme about not losing mid, gave many interviews.
After leaving Natus Vincere, he managed to play in the stacks of Tigers and The Pango as a stand-in, and in 2020 announced the creation of his own organization B8, so far famous only for the record of 18 consecutive losses. Fans are left with the belief that Dendi will show what he can do.
