CCT Series Season 2 Series 1: first event of the new season begins

Not long ago, the tournament organizer GRID announced the start of the second season of the Champion of Champions Tour (CCT) in Dota 2 and tomorrow the first event of the series CCT Series Season 2 Series 1 will kick off.

The group stage will run from 09.06.2025 to 11.06.2025 in a Swiss format. The teams are divided into two groups of four. The top two from each group will advance to the playoffs, while the rest will be eliminated.

The playoffs are scheduled from 14.06.2025 to 18.06.2025, played in a double-elimination format. All matches except the grand final will be BO3, while the grand final will be BO5.

Twelve teams will take part in the tournament, split across two initial stages:

• Passion UA
• eSpoiled
• Aim Possible
• Winter Bear

Teams starting directly in the playoffs:

• Virtus.pro
• Wildcard
• Zero Tenacity
• One Move

CCT Series Season 2 Series 1 will take place from 09.06.2025 to 18.06.2025 in an online format. Twelve teams will compete for a $40,000 prize pool.
