Nuke
A nuke in Dota 2 is a burst of high single-target damage from abilities or items that is quickly dealt to the enemy. It’s often used to finish off targets, interrupt spellcasting, or control opponents. Nukes are essential for securing kills and gaining lane dominance.
These are typically heroes with strong spells that can deal significant damage to one or multiple targets, usually with relatively short cooldowns. Such heroes rely more on their spellcasting power than on regular attacks.
For example, Lion’s ultimate Finger of Death instantly deals high magical damage to a single target, and Lina’s ultimate Laguna Blade also hits the enemy with strong burst damage.
