Event refers to a limited-time in-game occurrence in Dota 2 featuring special activities, custom game modes, exclusive rewards, and thematic visuals. Events are often tied to holidays (like New Year’s or Halloween), major tournaments (such as The International), or significant game updates. During events, players can complete challenges, open treasures, earn battle points, and unlock cosmetic items.
