Evasion
Evasion is a mechanic in Dota 2 that gives a hero a chance to avoid a physical attack, completely nullifying the damage. When evasion triggers, the attack is considered a miss and deals no damage.
The evasion chance is expressed as a percentage and can be gained through items, abilities, or talents. Evasion is especially effective against heroes who rely on autoattacks, as it reduces their overall damage output. However, it does not protect against magical or pure damage and can be countered by "True Strike" effects, which ignore evasion.
