Booster
Booster is a player who, for money or by agreement, helps another person increase their MMR in Dota 2. This usually involves playing on someone else's account or queueing with the client to ensure wins and fast rating growth. This practice undermines the integrity of the ranked system and is considered unfair. Accounts involved in boosting may be banned or have their MMR reduced after investigation by Valve. It harms the community by disrupting game balance and ruining the experience for honest players.
