How to complete all Castle Carnage levels in Act 4 of Crownfall
Castle Carnage is one of the mini-games in Act 4 of Crownfall. The main features and general tips for it, as well as for other minigames, including the final event, can be found here. In this guide, we will go through each level of Castle Carnage in detail.
Level 1: Enemy at the Gatehouse
Quite a simple level, created to familiarize you with the mechanics of the game and the peculiarities of using the Mortimer Kisses projectile.
- First you need to aim at the upper enemies, filling the aiming bar to the maximum and wait for the moment when the far creep comes to the cliff to destroy two of them at once with one projectile.
- Next, deal with the closest enemy to your character.
- Then destroy the barrier behind which the last creep is hiding and repeat the shot.
Level 2: A Bridge Too Far
Also an easy level where you can learn how to use Grenade projectiles.
- Set the angle of shot, as on the screenshot, and shoot, filling the aiming bar to the maximum.
- At the same angle, fire again at half of the maximum force. Even if you don't hit the enemies, they will fall into the hole created by the explosion.
Level 3: More than Two Towers
The first level where you must use two types of projectiles
- Use Mortimer Kisses to blow up the barrels in the towers. Set the angle as on the screenshot and do not change it, but adjust only the strength of the shot. For the first turret a little more than half of the scale, then 3/4, and for the last shot bring the aiming bar almost to the maximum.
- Change the projectile type to Grenade. Shoot enemies at the same angle, changing only the strength of the shot.
Level 4: Have a Great Fall
Here you can learn how to use Tunneler projectiles.
- For the first shot set the angle as on the screenshot and bring the scale to maximum.
- The second shot - at the same angle, but fill the aiming bar to 3/4.
Level 5: Disorder of the Courtyard
- First destroy the right side of the structure. Aim at the angle as on the screenshot, bringing the aiming bar almost to maximum. The grenade should make a hole in the fortification to the right of the Christmas tree. Repeat the shot to cause an explosion with the second projectile, which will destroy the skeletons and distant ogres.
- For the second shot, move the scope a little lower and bring the scale to maximum. The projectile will ricochet off the wall and roll to the upper left barrel.
Level 6: Battlement Royale
- After selecting Mortimer Kisses, aim at the ogre at an angle as on the screenshot and, bringing the scale almost to maximum, shoot.
- Change the projectile to Tunneler. The angle remains the same, but we make the force of the shot a little less. So, the skeletons will fall down.
- With the same force and at the same angle, fire the Grenade, which will blow up the barrels.
Level 7: Cooking With Gas
A new type of weapon opens up - Dropkick Missle. These missiles can be stopped in flight so that they fly exactly downwards. So the tactic is simple: take a shot with full force and, as soon as the missile flies over the target, press “space" bar.
Level 8: Full House
- Using Dropkick Missle, destroy the ogre behind the house.
- Now fire the Grenade into the upper opening of the building and fire it at the same angle and with the same force twice more.
Level 9: Bunker Buster
The last, most difficult level, where you need to combine all the above-mentioned projectiles. To get 3 stars, you must deal with six enemies by firing five shots.
- We start with zombies and skeletons, which are closest to the character. It is necessary to launch Grenade so that it falls near the wall at the moment when the skeleton approaches it from the other side of the wall.
- Now take the scope all the way down and, having filled the aiming bar to the maximum, launch Grenade to kill the ogre.
- Repeat the shot to kill the creep to the right of the barrel.
- Launch Tunneler to the right side of the house to throw the creep from the top floor into the hole created by the last shot.
- Launch Dropkick Missle at the Skywrath Mage on the right side of the house.
