One Move is a russian esports team founded in March 2022.
The original roster included the entire roster of Gambit Esports, as the representatives decided to completely disband the team, which was the reason for the creation of One Move. Thus, such players as Smiling Knight, mellojul, AfterLife, sayuw and Pantomem joined the new team.
The team started their competition on the professional stage with a performance at DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division II, where they took first place. Later, the guys performed at Dota 2 Champions League Season 11 and took fourth place. The next performance came at DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I, where the team placed fifth and earned $25,000. The roaster also attempted to qualify for The International 2022, but only placed fourth. In general, the team showed good results and earned recognition in the community.
In 2024, the roster was completely reassembled: v1olent took the role of carry, SSS took the offlane, xn丶e took the second position, wein - the fourth, and rein - the fifth. However, in May v1olent was replaced by nesfeer. In the same year the guys did not give up their attempts to qualify for such tournaments as DreamLeague Season 22, Elite League 2024, DreamLeague Season 23, PGL Wallachia, ESL One Birmingham and BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, but they were not strong enough to qualify for at least one event. As well as the two most important tournaments of the year - Riyadh Masters and The International. After completely failing qualifiers, the team competed at CCT Dota 2 Series 1 and LEON.BET MASTERS #1, finishing fifth and fifteenth respectively.
On March 25, 2025, One Move made roster changes after a disappointing performance at FISSURE Universe Ep.4, where the team finished in last place. The main roster was left by carry Nikolay WoE Ruban and support Aleksei not me Kosminin, who were replaced by Magomed nesfeer Kurbanov and Georgii Gilgir Svistunov.
On May 11, 2025, ahead of FISSURE Universe: Episode 5, further roster changes were revealed. Aleksei not me Kosmynin returned to the main lineup, while Georgii Gilgir Svystunov left the team. One Move also placed carry player Nikolai WoE Ruban on the transfer list. In July, Ilya Kiritych Ulyanov and Dmitry Fishman Polishchuk joined the team.
On August 8, 2025, the organization One Move suspended its esports operations due to financial difficulties.
