Three more teams qualify for DreamLeague Season 28

The DreamLeague Season 28 qualifiers are nearing their end, and we now know almost all of the teams that will take part in the tournament.

From the South American region, the updated Peru Rejects roster qualified after going through the upper bracket without a single loss.

Notably, at the beginning of the month the team was joined by former Heroic player Elvis Scofield De la Cruz Peña and during the qualifiers, Peru Rejects defeated Heroic twice: first in the upper bracket semifinals, sending them to the lower bracket, and then in the final match for the tournament slot. Heroic defeated all other opponents with a 2:0 score.

Only four teams took part in the North American closed qualifier, where GamerLegion defeated all other participants without much trouble and secured a spot at the tournament.

It is worth noting that two months ago the German esports organization GamerLegion signed the former Wildcard roster and their most recent result was a 17-21st place finish at DreamLeague Season 27.

Execration also qualified for the tournament from the Southeast Asia region. The team dealt with all opponents without major issues and defeated Team Nemesis in the final to secure a slot at the tournament.

Only two spots remain for DreamLeague Season 28. One of them will be decided at the Chinese regional tournament ESL Challenger China, which will take place from 30.01.2026 to 01.02.2026.

The final slot will be claimed by the champion of the European tournament DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3. The winner will also receive a small prize pool of $15,000. The tournament will run from 04.02.2026 to 12.02.2026.

The DreamLeague Season 28 qualifiers took place from 05.01.2026 to 12.01.2026. The main stage of the championship will be held online from 16.02.2026 to 01.03.2026, where 24 teams will compete for a $1,000,000 prize pool.

As CyberScore reported earlier, Team Falcons and BetBoom Team have also qualified for DreamLeague Season 28.
