About the tournament
The first-ever Gamers8 IESF Asian Championship will kick off with 20 countries looking to qualify for the World Esports Championship, including those in the Oceania region, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Participants:
- eight teams in total.
Group Stage: - 10.07.2023 - 11.07.2023
- single round-robin;
- two groups of four teams;
- all matches are Bo1;
- 1st and 2nd place teams from each group qualify to Playoffs;
- 3rd and 4th place teams are eliminated. 3rd place teams compete in Last Slot Qualifier.
Playoffs: - 12.07.2023 - 13.07.2023
- four teams;
- double-elimination bracket;
- all matches are Bo3.
