History
Despite having a relatively small professional scene, Jordan regularly participates in international competitions under the auspices of IESF and has become one of the most prominent national teams in the Middle East.
2017
The team’s first major international tournament was the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, where Dota 2 was featured in the competition for the first time.
The team consisted of local players from the professional scene, and it finished the tournament in fourth place, losing to the Philippines in the bronze medal match.
For Jordan, this marked its first appearance at an international tournament among national teams.
2023–2024
After a hiatus of several years, the national team returned to compete in national championships.
The Jordanian roster included TAz, Bader islA Hannun, Mohammad AfrOmoush Abu Al-Eis, Elias Nagato Bashar Mohd Alhaj Ali, and Anas MagE Hirzallah, for whom this was not his first call-up to the national team.
The team first won the West Asian qualifier for the AESF Road to Asian Games 2022. However, at the main event, they were replaced by Saudi Arabia.
Later, this same roster competed in the IESF Asian Championship 2023 and then made its debut at the IESF World Esports Championship 2023, where it ranked among the world’s top six national teams.
In 2024, Jordan added support player Yazid YapzOr Jaradat to its roster; he had won numerous trophies as a member of Team Secret.
With him on the team, they competed in two qualifiers for national championships but finished in fourth place in both.
2026
In early 2026, the Esports Nations Cup was announced in Saudi Arabia with a prize pool of $1,500,000.
The Jordanian national team submitted its application to participate, appointing YapzOr as head coach.
Team Falcons star Ammar ATF Al-Assaf was invited to represent the country at the major tournament, along with players who had previously competed for the national team: VaLyRiaN, islA, AfrOmoush and Nagato.
One of the country’s most famous players, Amer Miracle- Al-Barkawi, was not included in the roster. He has not competed on the professional scene for quite some time due to health issues, but the community still remembers him as one of the best players in the world.
Thanks to ATF’s strong performance on the Tier 1 scene, the team secured ninth place in the national rankings and received a direct invitation to the championship.
