The BTS Pro Series Season 8 Southeast Asia Dota 2 tournament promises to be an exciting event, with teams competing for a prize pool of $60,000.
Participants
- Ten invited teams
- Two teams from the open qualifier
Group stage - 07.09.2021 - 19.09.2021
- Single round-robin
- All matches are Bo2
- The top four teams advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs
- Teams from 5th to 8th place advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs
- Remaining teams are eliminated
Tiebreaker rules
- Head-to-head result
- Number of 2-0 wins
- Games against teams starting from 1st place
In the case of a tiebreaker for 3 or more teams, one round of bo1 matches will be played between them. If it does not allow to determine the best, the disputed situation will be resolved by flipping a coin in the lobby.
Playoffs - 22.09.2021 - 26.09.2021
- Double-elimination bracket
- All matches, except the grand final, are played in Bo3 format.
- The grand final is Bo5.
