Bio
Francis Fundemera or RCY is a professional Dota 2 player from the Philippines. He is a mid-ranked player who prefers Invoker and Tinker as his main heroes, although Pangolier, Zeus and Ember Spirit are often seen.
Francis' career began in 2022, when he joined Team DogChamp on August 18 to replace Kitzz. RCY's first achievement with this team was a 5th-6th place finish at The International 2022: North American Qualifiers. The same year also saw the team win the EPL World Series: America Season 1, as well as take bronze at the EPL World Series: America Season 2.
The year 2023 began with a disappointing finish at BTS Pro Series Season 14: America in 12th-13th place. However, RCY, along with Team Dogchamp, quickly rehabilitated themselves, and the team followed up with a 1st place finish at DPC NA 2023 Tour 1: Division II.
The young player is often praised by his teammates for his skill and play ability. The captain of Team DogChamp Bloody Nine himself said that he considers RCY to be the most talented mid, and has no doubts about his ability to make it to The International. Quiet in life, Francis impresses with his daring game, which periodically "pulls" the team through.
January 9, 2025 RCY joined Wildcard. Roster performed at the FISSURE PLAYGROUND, where they took 14th place. In March, the team competed at PGL Wallachia Season 3, but failed to advance past the group stage, as well as at FISSURE Universe Ep.4 and PGL Wallachia Season 5.
In 2025, the team qualified for The International 2025 but couldn’t reach the playoffs and finished the tournament in 11th place.
On October 2, the organization Wildcard disbanded the roster, and it returned to the Apex Genesis tag and later was signed by GamerLegion.
In November, GamerLegion participated in PGL Wallachia Season 6, where they failed to advance past the group stage. A month later, the roster achieved the same result at both DreamLeague seasons 27 and 28, as well as at BLAST Slam VI.
At the end of March, the roster competed at ESL One Birmingham 2026, where during the tiebreaker stage the team failed to defeat PARIVISION and BetBoom Team, finishing the tournament in 9th-10th place.
In April, the team’s results improved: at PREMIER SERIES, the roster managed to finish in 4th place, eliminating Team Spirit along the way.
At the following tournament, PGL Wallachia Season 8, the team came close to reaching the playoffs but failed to advance due to tiebreaker criteria.
GamerLegion also qualified for DreamLeague Season 29 after winning their regional qualifier.
