Bio
Artem Fng Barshak is one of the strongest captains in the CIS region. Before joining the well-known teams, this player from Belarus played in various squads and semi-professional teams. In 2012, he even had the opportunity to participate in the prestigious Chinese tournament World Cyber Games. The following year, Fng made significant progress and was eventually able to join the Power Rangers due to his serious level of play. It was during his captaincy that the team began to achieve some success. The Power Rangers won confidently at the ESPL Season 1 , Yard White Festival, and Techlabs Cup 2014 Season 2 Minsk. Soon, Power Rangers even got their own sponsors.
However, despite their good performances, in mid-2014, Fng did not refuse the captaincy offered to him in one of the world's top teams at the time - Natus Vincere. Unfortunately, the re-formed team did not meet expectations in the following tournaments. The only victory for Natus Vincere came at the Dota 2 Champions League Season 4. Due to the team's unsatisfactory results, Fng was removed from the roster. Then he tried his hand at Virtus.pro Polar. At first, Fng played in the team as a substitute, but by the end of 2014, he became a full member of the squad. This time, Artem demonstrated his captaincy skills to the best of his ability and managed to lead the new team to significant achievements. In January, Virtus.pro Polar took second place at the Star Ladder Star Series Season 11 and Dota 2 League Season 5. Later, the team was renamed ASUS Polar, but in 2015, the management confirmed this roster as the main one, and fans concluded that the team was called Virtus.pro.
The next stage of development for Fng was their first significant victory at the prestigious ASUS ROG DreamLeague Season 3 tournament. In 2015, the team received an invitation to The International , where they took only 5-6th place. Over time, the team's performances became unstable and far from productive. As a result, they were unable to qualify for the next The International , which led to the team's disintegration. In the following years, Artem played in teams such as Vega Squadron and Team Spirit, but failed to achieve good results at major tournaments. The teams failed at almost every qualifier. Vega Squadron 's management decided to replace Fng, and Artem left Team Spirit by his own choice after receiving an invitation to join the promising Gambit Esports roster.
Expectations of a new successful stage in Fng 's career were met - Gambit Esports often reached the finals of major and minor events. They took second place at ESL One Hamburg 2019, The Bucharest Major , and ESL One Katowice 2019. They also showed great performances at WePlay Winter Madness and WePlay! Dota 2 Valentine Madness, defeating OG and Ninjas in Pyjamas in the finals. In 2020, Fng temporarily left the active roster of Gambit Esports and was loaned to the Alliance team for several months.
Later, Fng played for CIS Rejects for some time, but did not achieve significant results there either, after which he returned to Virtus.pro . The team failed to perform well at Riyadh Masters 2023 and took eighth place at The International 2023.
In the spring of 2024, Virtus.pro 's Fng managed to qualify for such tournaments as BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, DreamLeague Season 22, Elite League 2024, and PGL Wallachia Season 1. In the summer of the same year, the team took 8th place at FISSURE Universe Ep.2, 5th place at 1win Series Summer , and 17th place at Riyadh Masters 2024, and failed to qualify for The International 2024.
On March 29, 2025, Artyom Fng Barshak announced his retirement, and Virtus Pro introduced him as their ambassador.
On July 5, 2025, it was announced that Fng will take over as the head coach of Virtus.pro for Riyadh Masters 2025.
In July 2025, Virtus.pro ended their participation in Riyadh Masters 2025, finishing in 13th place and earning $50,000 in prize money.
