Bio
Zhou bLink Yang is a former professional Dota 2 player from China whose career highlight was winning The International 2016 as a roster member of Wings Gaming. Zhou has been working as a coach in recent years, and has also appeared on Chinese tournament broadcasts as an analyst and commentator.
bLink started his appearance on the pro scene in the mid in the Chinese roster of Speed Gaming in 2014, but after a few months player left the team, soon joining Wings Gaming. With a new roster bLink managed to qualify for the Wildcard Dota 2 Asia Championships 2015, but Wings G aming did not advance to the main stage of the tournament.
The most successful year for bLink in the roster of Wings Gaming was 2016, although the team was characterized by some instability. The Chinese team finished top-1 at ESL One Manila 2016, but finished only in 13th-16th place at The Manila Major 2016, followed by a win at The Summit 5 and an astounding championship at The International 2016.
After winning at TI, the roster's results went downhill, and after less than a year, the roster disbanded. After that, bLink tried his hand at various little-known Chinese teams, but he did not reach greater heights. In 2019, player had his first stint as a commentator at the MDL Disneyland® Paris Major, and then he was invited to join the Chinese analytics studio at The International 2019.
The next step in bLink 's career was a move to the role of coach for Xtreme Gaming. The team was only able to reach the tier-1 level by 2023, appearing at ESL One Berlin Major 2023 and finishing 9-12th there. Shortly after the championship bLink left the club. Zhou later became the coach of Team Zero. Having failed to achieve significant results during a year and a half of coaching the team, bLink said goodbye to this team too.
In early 2025, Zhou joined Tidebound as a coach. The team debuted at PGL Wallachia: Season 3, finishing in 7th-8th place. That same month, the squad performed at FISSURE Universe Ep.4 and placed in the top-3. At ESL One Raleigh 2025 in April, the roster failed to advance beyond the group stage.
In May, Tidebound participated in BLAST SLAM III, where they lost in the Playoff quarterfinals and exited the tournament in 5th–6th place.
- On May 14, 2025, the Chinese esports organization All Gamers Global fully acquired the TideBound Dota 2 roster.
In June 2025, Tidebound competed at PGL Wallachia Season 5 but failed to reach the playoffs. The team also failed to qualify for Riyadh Masters 2025, and after that, the team was removed from the Chinese esports organization All Gamers Global.
On July 3, 2025, Tidebound finished their run at FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 after losing in the lower bracket quarterfinal. In August 2025, Tidebound became the champions of Clavision DOTA2 Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi, and the team also earned $213,500 in prize money. In September, Tidebound participated in The International 2025 where they managed to reach the playoffs but lost in the lower bracket and exited the tournament, finishing in 7-8th place.
