Bio

Sakis dEsire Kartsambas is a professional player from Greece who plays as a semi-support. He has most often played on Rubick, Primal Beast and Mirana.

For most of his professional career, dEsire has played on teams with players from Greece. These include Ad Finem, Monaspa, KZ Team and Brame. He started his career in 2019, his first serious team was Ad Finem. After a while, dEsire moved to No Bounty Hunter, the lineup participated in the regional Dota Pro Circuit league. An interesting story is related to dEsire, he played football professionally for a team from the local second division league, so he missed tournament matches for NBH. For this, No Bounty Hunter was disqualified and Sakis moved to Brame.

In 2023, dEsire played for Monaspa, after a time, the organization stopped supporting the squad and he started playing under the tag ex-Monaspa. It was at that time that the team from Greece managed to finish top-3 in the second division of the DPC WEU 2023 Tour 3: Division II with dEsire. Before qualifying for BetBoom Dacha 2023, the Turkish organization KZ Team signed the ex-Monaspa squad. The results were extremely disappointing, top-4 at European Pro League Season 11, 7-8th place at qualifying for The International 2023, 5-8th place at Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes #3 and 5-6th place at European Pro League Season 12. After a while, dEsire finds himself in Level UP. With his new team he is in the top 5-6 at Pinnacle: 25 Years Anniversary Show and top 7 on Winline Insight Season 4.

In 2024, dEsire became a member of Nemesis Curse, with whom he participated in the qualifiers for ESL One Birmingham, where he placed fifth. He was later signed by Dandelions, with whom he attempted to qualify for Elite League 2024, DreamLeague Season 23, PGL Wallachia Season 1 and Elite League Season 2, and also participated in RES Regional Series: EU #1 і RES Regional Series: EU #2, finishing second and first respectively.

  • September 27, 2024 - dEsire and the full Dandelions roster come under the Alliance banner.

At the beginning of October, Alliance played at PGL Wallachia: Season #2, where they received a direct invitation. The team left the tournament in the group stage and took 9th place.

On March 7, 2025, dEsire as part of the Night Pulse became the champion of the CCT Dota 2 Series 7, defeating Navi Junior 3:2 in the grand final. Sakis soon joined AVULUS as a stand-in. The renewed roster qualified for DreamLeague Season 26In April, the team competed at ESL One Raleigh 2025 but was eliminated in the first playoff match. At PGL Wallachia Season 4 AVULUS came in last place. At the end of the month, dEsire officially joined the team.

On April 18, 2025, Avulus defeated Virtus.pro in the lower bracket final of FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 Play-In, securing a slot in FISSURE Universe: Episode 5. At DreamLeague Season 26, the roster finished in 14th place. At PGL Wallachia Season 5 the team was also one of the first teams to be eliminated.

In early July, the team participated in FISSURE Universe: Episode 5, where they performed poorly and failed to reach the playoff stage. Earlier this month, AVULUS qualified for FISSURE Universe: Episode 6 by successfully defeating 1WIN Team in the Play-In stage.

On September 17, it became known about the formation of a new roster Team Tea led by Akbar SoNNeikO Butaev.

At the end of March, as part of Zero Tenacity, became the champion of European Pro League 35.
