Bio
Yao began his professional career in 2011 and played for several top Chinese teams, including LGD Gaming, CDEC and LGD.Forever Young. His best results came with LGD Gaming, where he achieved 3rd place at The International 2015 and 4th place at The International 2017.
In 2019, Yao retired as a player and transitioned into a coaching role. His first experience as a coach was with LGD Gaming, where he held the position for over a year. Later, at the end of 2020, he joined EHOME, where he remained until the end of 2024.
Despite his successful playing career, Yao’s coaching journey has been less remarkable and has yet to bring significant achievements.
On October 23, Yao officially became part of Tidebound. On November 12, Tidebound became the champions of DreamLeague Division 2 Season 2, earning $15,000 in prize money and a slot at DreamLeague Season 27. At PGL Wallachia Season 6, the team finished in 12th-14th place.
