Player Fng from from Virtus.pro Dota 2
Bio
Fng is one of the strongest captains in the CIS region. Before joining well-known teams, this player from Belarus played in various mixes and semi-professional stacks. In 2012, he even had the opportunity to participate in the prestigious Chinese tournament, World Cyber Games. The following year, Fng made significant progress and eventually managed to join Power Rangers, thanks to his serious level of play. It was during his captaincy that the team began to achieve certain successes. Power Rangers secured confident victories at ESPL Season 1, Yard White Festival, and Techlabs Cup 2014 Season 2 Minsk. Soon, Power Rangers even gained their own sponsors.
However, despite their good performances, in the middle of 2014, Fng did not refuse the offered captain position in one of the top teams in the world at that time, Natus Vincere. Unfortunately, the reformed team did not live up to the expectations in the next tournaments. The only victory for Natus Vincere came at the Dota 2 Champions League Season 4. Due to the team's underwhelming performances, Fng was released from the roster. He then tried his skills in Virtus.pro Polar. Initially, Fng played as a stand-in, but by the end of 2014, he became a full member of the team. This time, Artem showcased his captaincy skills in the best light and managed to lead the new roster to significant achievements. In January, Virtus.pro Polar secured second places at Star Ladder Star Series Season 11 and Dota 2 League Season 5. Later, the team was renamed ASUS Polar, but in 2015, the management confirmed this roster as the main one, which led the fans to adjust to the new team tag - Virtus.pro.
The next stage of development for Fng came with their first significant victory at the prestigious ASUS ROG DreamLeague Season 3 tournament. In 2015, the team received an invitation to The International, where they achieved only a 5-6th place finish. Over time, the team's performances became unstable and far from productive. As a result, they failed to qualify for the next The International, leading to the disbandment of the roster. In the following years, Artem played for teams like Vega Squadron and Team Spirit, but he couldn't achieve good results in major tournaments. Failures plagued the teams in almost every qualification. The management of Vega Squadron made a decision to replace Fng, while Artem left Team Spirit by his own choice after receiving an invitation to the promising roster of Gambit Esports.
The expectations for a new successful stage in Fng's career were justified - Gambit Esports often reached the finals of Major and Minor tournaments. They secured 2nd place at ESL One Hamburg 2019, The Bucharest Major, and ESL One Katowice 2019. They also showcased great performances at WePlay Winter Madness and WePlay! Dota 2 Valentine Madness, defeating OG and Ninjas in Pyjamas in the finals. In 2020, Fng temporarily left the active roster of Gambit Esports and was loaned to Alliance for several months.
