Bio
Vitalie Save- Melnik is a talented Moldovan Dota 2 cyber athlete, known as the former captain of Virtus.pro and one of the best players at the 4th position in the CIS. He has played on several teams throughout his career and has established himself as a master of Rubick, Windranger and Phoenix.
Save- Started his cybersports career in 2019, playing for various teams at tournament qualifiers. He failed to qualify for major LANs, but in 2019 he received an offer to rejuvenate and refresh the Virtus.pro roster with Nightfall.
The official move to VP in October 2019 suggests that Save- was on the right track to become a professional tier-1 player. Although the team didn't achieve high results, Save- still showed steady play in various tournaments.
In the spring of 2020, Virtus.pro revealed its second VP.Prodigy roster, which included Save-, Nightfall, fn, DM and eine. VP.Prodigy placed high in multiple online tournaments and proved that it can compete with the main roster on the dash-1 scene.
In 2021, Virtus.pro solidified itself as CIS top-1 and Save- as the best captain in the region.
At the end of 2022, Vitalie is signed by BetBoom Team. Together with BB he achieved good results: 2nd place at DreamLeague Season 20, 3rd place at DreamLeague Season 21. And also together with him the team took 5th-6th place at The International 2023.
After The International 2023, Save together with BetBoom Team successfully qualified among the teams from Eastern Europe and selected for ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023. At the tournament BB Team performed well and took 4th place.
In 2024, Save with BetBoom Team placed 2nd at DreamLeague Season 22 and ESl One Birmingham 2024, 3rd at Betboom Dacha Dubai 2024, 12th at Elite League 2024, 10th at PGL Wallachia Season 1 and 3rd at DreamLeague Season 23.
In July 2024, BetBoom Team participated in the Riyadh Masters 2024, where they reached the quarterfinals of the lower bracket and finished in 6th place. Then, the team competed in the FISSURE Universe Ep.3, where they made it to the playoffs and placed 4th.
In September, BetBoom Team took part in their second The International 2024 tournament for the organization. Starting in the lower bracket of the playoffs, the team passed three rounds but were eliminated after losing to Team Falcons, finishing the tournament in 8th place.
The debut of the updated team was quite successful: BB performed at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 and DreamLeague Season 24, finishing 3rd and 2nd respectively. In December, BetBoom Team became BLAST SLAM I champions, earning the first title for their tag team, and a bit later, the team went to ESl One Bangkok 2024 but managed to secure only 3rd place there. In February, BB placed 6th at the FISSURE PLAYGROUND.
In March, BetBoom Team participated in FISSURE Universe Ep.4,, where they easily reached the grand final, defeating top teams. In the grand final, they also easily triumphed over Gaimin Gladiators with a 3:0 score, becoming the tournament champions.
In April, the team competed at ESL One Raleigh 2025 but lost in the second round of the lower bracket, finishing in 5th-6th place. Later, at the end of April, the team competed in PGL Wallachia Season 4, where they lost in the first round of the lower bracket playoffs and exited the tournament, finishing in 7–8 place.
In May, the team participated in BLAST SLAM III, where they lost in the first round of the playoffs and were eliminated, finishing 9th–10th. In early June, the main roster participated in DreamLeague Season 26, finishing in 2nd place. Also in the summer, BB Team earned their second title in history by winning PGL Wallachia Season 5.
In July 2025, BetBoom Team took part in the Riyadh Masters 2025, where they lost in the quarterfinals, finishing in 6th place and earning $125,000 in prize money.
On August 2, 2025, BetBoom Team was eliminated from Clavision DOTA2 Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi. The team finished in 4th place and earned $63,000.
On August 23, BetBoom Team competed at FISSURE Universe: Episode 6, but lost in their first lower bracket playoff match and exited the tournament, finishing in 5th–6th place.
In September, BetBoom Team participated in The International 2025 where they managed to reach the playoffs but lost in the lower bracket and exited the tournament, finishing in 4th place.
At the end of October, BetBoom took part in FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, where the team finished 2nd, reaching the grand final of the tournament. At BLAST SLAM IV, the team finished in 7th place, and at PGL Wallachia Season 6, they made it into the top 4. At DreamLeague Season 27, BetBoom finished their performance in the group stage with a score of 3-3. The team also failed to reach the playoffs at DreamLeague Season 28.
In March, the team competed at PGL Wallachia Season 7, where it showed excellent form and finished in 3rd place. However, by the end of the month, the roster once again faced difficulties at ESL One Birmingham 2026, failing to reach the playoffs.
The main tournament of April for BetBoom Team was PGL Wallachia Season 8, where the team unexpectedly became champions without losing a single series.
