Alexander Nofear Churochkin is one of the most famous professional Dota 2 players from the CIS, having played in most of the top teams in the region and in countless small teams over the years. Husband of Alliance manager Maria Gunina. As a member of Winstrike Team he took 9-12th place at The International 2018.
Alexander joined pro-Dota in 2012. His first team was SoWhatYouCan - he played in it for almost 1.5 years. Then he managed to participate in the first Russian roster FlipSid3, cooperate with PGG in his The Retry, which then changed sponsors several times and became Ahead Gaming and DreamTeam168, but he did not demonstrate unambiguously high results in any team.
After another failure in Vega Squadron, Nofear plunged into regular publikes and became the first CIS player to get 8k MMR points. This added weight to him on the professional scene, so in the new season 2015-2016 he first played with Goblak in newteam123123, and then joined Team Empire. As a member of the team he was finally able to reveal himself as a D1-1-2 player and led the team to 2nd place at Dota 2 Champions League Season 6 and DreamLeague Season 4, as well as victory at Game Show Global eSports Cup Season 1, which was the first major tournament for Alexander. The total award from all competitions exceeded $160 thousand.
Nofear's next team was Virtus.pro: he performed well in it, but failed at The International 2016 qualifiers, so together with his former teammates he moved to FRIENDS. After a season and a half, Alexander was able to return to the dash-1 level after joining FlyToMoon, later signed by Winstrike Team. With Silent, Iceberg, nongrata and ALWAYSWANNAFLY, he took 3rd place at EPICENTER XL, earning $110k, won regional qualifications for The International 2018, and at the tournament itself reached the 9th-12th ranking lines, which added $380k to the team's account.
The next year Nofear was 1 step away from getting to the main event - as a member of Winstrike Team he took 2nd place at the CIS qualifications, losing to Natus Vincere. Later he played for Team Unique and FlyToMoon 2.0, but he didn't rise above the Tier-3 level. It is not known whether Alexander will play at the top of the region, because other members of the community have repeatedly noted the player's unworthy behavior and rudeness.
