However, the team's recent results at tournaments deteriorated and in August 2020, the Filipino player was contacted by the management of the Zerothreetwo Dota organization. A month later, Natsumi- became part of the team where he led the following scoreless quarter.
In November 2020, the player joined Neon Esports - the cyber athlete took the position of kerry. At the start of the new DPC-system the team had to participate in the first division, according to the results of which the team took second place and qualified for the playoffs ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021. However, Natsumi- was not able to participate in this tournament, he was replaced by Rapy. John's last tournament with Neon Esports was the regional qualifiers for The International 2021, where he managed to place 5th-6th.
In September 2021, Natsumi- joined Polaris Esports. In this team, the Filipino player continued to show high quality play, which allowed him to win championships at local tournaments. In the opening round of the DPC League for Southeast Asia, the high performance of the player allowed the team to qualify for the first division, taking the top spot in the standings at the end of the championship. In the second round, the team managed to impose the fight against the regional grandees, but it was not enough to get to the major tournament. At the end of the third part of the season, Natsumi- along with the team fell to the second division. Despite this, at the end of qualifying for The International 2022 the team unexpectedly took second place, which allowed the Filipino to qualify for the main tournament of the year.
