Ilya Kiritych Ulyanov is a young Russian professional Dota 2 player who plays in the Carry position and has an MMR rating of 11,000. He is known for his skill on Terrorblade, Anti-Mage and Juggernaut heroes.
Kiritych began his career in professional eSports in early 2020, joining the SMARACIS eSports team. Although he did not achieve significant success, it was on this team that the young player began to show his potential as a promising Carry. However, Ulyanov had a problem with controlling his emotions: in his own words, due to frequent displays of toxicity on his part, the SMARACIS eSports roster decided not to continue playing him, which forced the cyber athlete to leave the team.
In March 2021, the player joined the Belarus-based organization Nemiga Gaming. Together with this team Kiritych was almost immediately able to qualify for the DPC league for Eastern Europe. Ilya strengthened his position in the second division and at the same time took part in D2CL tournaments, where the best result was the fourth place at Dota 2 Champions League 2022 Season 7.
After The International 2021 Kiritych had an opportunity to join Virtus.pro, but he failed to prove himself during the test matches and had to stay with Nemiga Gaming. Ulyanov continued to play in the second division of the DPC league, and after some changes in the lineup, his team was able to get into the first division.
In 2022, kiritych continued to play Nemiga Gaming, the team took 4th place at Dota 2 Champions League Season 7, but at all subsequent tournaments of the series Ilya and his team did not find themselves above 9-12th place. The squad tried their hand at qualifying for such tournaments as Gamers Without Borders 2022, ESL One Malaysia 2022 and The International 2022, but they failed to qualify for any event.
In March 2023, Ilya decided to sign with Virtus.pro. As a VP Ilya took part in Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes #1, Riyadh Masters 2023, as well as took 7th-8th place at The International 2023 and 4th place at Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show.
In the spring of 2024, Kiritych~ with Virtus.pro was able to qualify for tournaments such as BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, DreamLeague Season 22, Elite League 2024 and PGL Wallachia Season 1. In the summer of the same year, the team finished 8th at FISSURE Universe Ep.2, 5th at 1win Series Summer and 17th at Riyadh Masters 2024, but also failed to qualify for The International 2024.
January 2, 2025 - Virtus.pro placed Kiritych on transfer and he joined 9Pandas, but not for long. After failing at the qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 25, Ilya left this team as well.
In February, Kiritych competed at BetBoom Streamers Battle 9, where he secured top-4, as a roster member of UNLUCK. After that, the player joined the Capy Baras stack, led by captain Fly. The team made its debut in the open qualifier for DreamLeague Season 26, advanced to the closed stage, but fell to Team Secret in the second round of the lower bracket. In July, Ilya joined One Move.
On August 8, 2025, the organization One Move suspended its esports operations due to financial difficulties.
On September 30, Ilya has officially joined BetBoom Team. At the end of October, BetBoom took part in FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, where the team finished 2nd, reaching the grand final of the tournament. At BLAST SLAM IV, the team finished in 7th place, and at PGL Wallachia Season 6, they made it into the top 4. At DreamLeague Season 27, BetBoom finished their performance in the group stage with a score of 3-3. The team also failed to reach the playoffs at DreamLeague Season 28.
In March, the team competed at PGL Wallachia Season 7, where it showed excellent form and finished in 3rd place. However, by the end of the month, the roster once again faced difficulties at ESL One Birmingham 2026, failing to reach the playoffs.
The main tournament of April for BetBoom Team was PGL Wallachia Season 8, where the team unexpectedly became champions without losing a single series.
