Yakult Brothers change their roster and form a second team

The Chinese team Yakult Brothers announced that Nicholas zeal Lim En Han has left the roster, while Zhou Emo Yi has been moved to inactive status due to health issues. The organization stated that the player will take time to recover and, during this period, will also consider opportunities to work as a coach, including in other regions. Sun srf Rufna and Kam MooN Boon Seng will replace them in the active roster.

MooN is considered a veteran of the Chinese professional scene. From 2017 to 2019, he represented Mineski, after which he spent two years playing for Fnatic. At the recent DreamLeague Season 27, he competed as a stand-in for Yakult Brothers, as Emo had not recovered by that time. However, the team failed to achieve a strong result, finishing in 22nd–24th place.

Srf is also well known on the Chinese scene. Previously, the player competed for Royal Never Give Up and IG. Vitality, and in 2020 he played as a stand-in for CDEC.

Yakult Brothers’ recent performances have generally been disappointing. The team finished 7th–10th at BLAST Slam V and placed 12th–14th at PGL Wallachia Season 6.

In addition, the organization’s general manager Wang Yakult Hao announced the merger of Yakult Brothers with Tearlaments and the formation of a second roster named YB.Tearlaments. This information was published on his Weibo page:

Two teams, but one heart. Different paths, but a shared goal. YB.Tearlaments will become a sister roster to Yakult Brothers, forming two branches. In the near future, both teams will increase the pace of their preparation, work together to analyze their issues, and aim to progress further in competitions while delivering more exciting matches.

The core of YB.Tearlaments will consist of former Tidebound players Xu EchozZ Ziliang and Li niu Kongbo, who left the team the day before, as well as Tearlaments representatives Zhang zzq Ziqiang and He TK Boyi. Tearlaments’ most recent tournament was BLAST Slam V, where the team finished in 11th–12th place.

Earlier, Cyberscore reported that Passion UA disbanded their roster and suspended operations in the Dota 2 discipline.
