Virtus.pro presented its youth Dota 2 roster

Esports organization Virtus.pro has announced the return of its Dota 2 academy project. The updated VP.Prodigy lineup was presented on the club’s official platforms.

The team features young players ranked within the top 700 of the European ladder, as well as competitors with experience on the tier-2 and tier-3 scenes. The roster will be led by coach Gennady GuessWho Filatov, who previously worked with Natus Vincere, Chimera Esports, and several other teams. The renewed academy is expected to debut in the upcoming online qualifiers for tournaments following The International 2025.

The first VP.Prodigy lineup was formed in spring 2020. Back then, the academy included Egor Nightfall Grigorenko, Dmitry DM Dorokhin, Vitalie Save- Melnick, and other players. In November, part of the roster was promoted to the main team, and in early 2021 the club assembled a new lineup that lasted for about six months. After that, Virtus.pro’s academy project was put on hold.
