Valve has updated the demo mode — creep icons have been added to Dota 2
Shortly after the release of patch 7.40c, the developers made further changes to the demo mode in Dota 2. It is now possible to summon creeps in the test lobby. All types of lane creeps are available: base, super, and mega, as well as any neutral creeps. Appropriate icons have been added for all units.

Team Spirit analyst Denis sikle Lerman drew attention to this new feature. He also noted that Valve disabled the Dota 2 Experimental server from monitoring and, earlier in December, restricted the Staging server. These changes will prevent data miners from finding information about the content of upcoming updates.
As a reminder, with the release of patch 7.40, Valve added the ability to launch demo lobbies with friends and select the type of terrain.
As CyberScore reported earlier, another hero has reached the milestone of one billion matches played.
