Tidebound unveiled an updated roster — the team has a new coach

The Chinese esports organization Team Tidebound has officially announced that Shu EchoZz Ziliang and Li niu Kongbo have joined the team, replacing Cheng NothingToSay Jin Xiang, who is now part of Xtreme Gaming, and Zhang Bach Ruida.

Both players have already played together - in 2024, EchoZz and niu were part of LGD Gaming. Notably, that year LGD Gaming became home to every player of the current Tidebound roster. However, in September 2024, the organization completely disbanded its lineup.

After leaving LGD, Ziliang took part in qualifiers for major tournaments with various Chinese stacks but failed to advance to any championships.

Niu, after his time with LGD Gaming, joined Azure Ray, where his only notable result was 11th place at PGL Wallachia: Season 2. Later, he became part of Xtreme Gaming, where he participated in major tournaments but failed to achieve top results — his best finish was 4th place at BLAST SLAM I.

There have also been changes in the coaching staff - Yao Yao Zhengzheng has replaced Zhou bLink Yang as the new coach of the team.

Yao began his professional career in 2011 and played for several top Chinese teams, including LGD Gaming, CDEC and LGD.Forever Young. His best results came with LGD Gaming, where he achieved 3rd place at The International 2015 and 4th place at The International 2017.

In 2019, Yao retired as a player and transitioned into a coaching role. His first experience as a coach was with LGD Gaming, where he held the position for over a year. Later, at the end of 2020, he joined EHOME, where he remained until the end of 2024.

Despite his successful playing career, Yao’s coaching journey has been less remarkable and has yet to bring significant achievements.

The next tournament for the updated Team Tidebound roster will be PGL Wallachia Season 6, for which the team received a direct invitation.

PGL Wallachia Season 6 will take place from 15.11.2025 to 23.11.2025 in Bucharest, Romania. Sixteen teams will compete for a total prize pool of $1,000,000.
