The International 2025: community shares playoff predictions — China among the favorites

Ahead of the playoffs of The International 2025, professional players and analysts from the CIS shared their predictions for the main tournament of the year. Despite different views, most agree on one thing: we are almost certain to see a Chinese team in the grand final.

Professional player Vladimir RodjER Nikogosyan predicted Xtreme Gaming and Team Falcons as the finalists. In his opinion, Tundra Esports and Nigma Galaxy will be the first to exit the tournament.

Igor iLTW Filatov was impressed by Aurora Gaming and Heroic, but in his prediction he put Xtreme Gaming and BetBoom Team in the grand final, with BetBoom taking the title.

Team Falcons midlaner Stanislav Malr1ne Potoraк took a more ironic approach, predicting two consecutive losses for his own team and naming Nigma Galaxy as the champion.

Caster Yaroslav NS Kuznetsov believes that Nigma could surprise, but still considers the Chinese teams and Team Falcons stronger contenders. He also joked about Xtreme Gaming carry Wang Ame Chunyu’s recurring failures in the grand finals.

Roman RAMZES666 Kushnarev also leans toward a Chinese victory. He sees XG, PARIVISION, Falcons and BB Team as the stronger sides in the opening matches, with Xtreme and BetBoom meeting in the upper bracket final.

Looks like China is taking this TI

The community unanimously considers Xtreme Gaming one of the main favorites of TI14. At the same time, BetBoom Team and Team Falcons are often mentioned as possible finalists of the tournament.
