Treasure in honor of the Lunar New Year released in Dota 2
Valve released the Charms of the Snake treasure in honor of the Lunar New Year. Treasure contains cosmetic sets for nine characters. The chest can be purchased for $2.49.
Charms of the Snake includes sets for Shadow Shaman, Naga Siren, Templar Assassin, Medusa, Earth Spirit, Snapfire, Razor, Lich and Necrophos. You can get an additional chest for re-forging six sets. For now, items from treasure are not available for sale or purchase on the Steam Market.
Team Spirit analyst Denis sikle Lerman revealed that with new treasure release developers have made a few other small changes:
- Added an alias to search in shop Daedalus: Crit (there was only Daedalus)
- Added an alias to search in shop Boots of Bearing: Bongo Boots (was only Marching Boots).
- Significantly increased polygon count and maximum texture resolution for Dragon Knight and Lycan models.
In addition, players have noticed that when typing the letter “s” in chat it appears as “sss”. This is probably an imitation of the hissing of a snake, to which the new treasure is dedicated.
