Team Liquid set a few records by winning at The International 2024

Team Liquid won the thirteenth tournament of The International series yesterday, defeating Gaimin Gladiators in the grand finals 3-0.
Winning the tournament brought the team more than a million dollars. In addition, the team set a number of records:
- Team Liquid became the first team to not lose a single map in the entire playoffs of The International;
- Neta 33 Shapira became the first player to win The International twice with completely different players;
- Michael miCKKe Vu, Samuel Boxi Svahn and Aydin iNSaNiA Sarkohi became the players who played together the longest and eventually won The International;
- iNSaNiA became the oldest champion of The International, winning at 30 years old;
- Team Liquid became the first organization to win two TIs with completely different rosters.

- Gaimin Gladiators became the first team to lose two grand finals at The International 0:3, also two years in a row;

The International 2024 was held September 4-15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. There were 16 teams competing at the championship. The prize pool of the event amounted to more than $2 million.
