Talon Esports admitted to delaying player payments
The organization Talon Esports acknowledged financial difficulties and confirmed delays in player payments. In an official statement on social media, the club noted:
We acknowledge the recent allegations regarding our financial situation. Talon takes management matters seriously, and we approach this responsibly and transparently. Our operations remain stable, however, there have been unforeseen administrative delays in distributing prize money.
The management emphasized that salaries for current players are being paid in full, and all debts will be settled: former players will receive their funds by 06.09.2025, while active rosters will be paid by 30.09.2025. The organization apologized for the inconvenience and assured that player welfare remains their top priority.
Earlier, the director of the Singaporean organization Team Nemesis, Chris Momo Evans, stated that he had lent Talon Esports a large sum of money. According to him, the club returned the main amount but still owes the interest.
It is worth noting that at the recently concluded Riyadh Masters 2025, Flipster Talon placed 10th and earned $75,000 in prize money.
Previously, Cyberscore reported that Yakult Brothers had been invited to The International 2025.
