LGD Gaming Midlaner Receives Lifetime Ban for "322" Ahead of The International 2026

Seventeen-year-old Santiago TaiLung Olivos Aguero Gustavo will not be able to compete at The International 2026. LGD Gaming management reported a violation of competitive integrity involving the player, after which the tournament organizers decided to suspend him from the championship.

According to the statement, they received information about possible violations and immediately launched an internal investigation.

The organization also independently shared the available information with the relevant parties and continued cooperating with the organizers as part of the subsequent investigation.

Following the investigation, TaiLung was suspended from the tournament, while PGL decided to impose a lifetime ban on the player from participating in any tournaments under its jurisdiction. The club will announce his replacement for TI15 shortly.

The only comment the player left on his social media was brief: he wrote that "it was all over" and apologized. Later, Hector K1 Rodriguez showed a conversation involving Santiago Olivos during his stream, in which Olivos allegedly asked someone to bet on an odd number of kills.

It is worth recalling that a similar scandal occurred during Esports World Cup 2026 involving Peruvian players from PlayTime, resulting in several players and a coach also being suspended from participating in tournaments.

TaiLung's ban was commented on by Team Falcons coach Curtis Daniel Aui_2000 Ling:

A couple of months ago, I couldn’t figure out how Malr1ne managed to solo kill TaiLung on Kotl while playing Slardar. I think it was 322.

We also tried to figure out if he was using scripts or macros, since during games he would turn the Armlet of Mordiggian on and off with perfect frame-by-frame synchronization, but his team stated that they had personally checked him and that he was playing fairly.
