Norwegian Dota 2 player Tommy Taiga Le announced his decision to leave the professional scene. The cybersportsman told about it on Twitter.
According to Taiga, he will devote all his time to streaming on Twitch and Kick, as well as to conquer the rating matchmaking - the cyber athlete plans to overcome the mark of 12 thousand MMR. In addition, Le said that he will provide personal trainer services.
Taiga is the most famous Norwegian player in Dota 2. At the age of 15-16 years old he played HoN and League of Legends, but chose Dota for his cybersport career. He took 13-16th place at The International 2019 as a member of Team Alliance.
Taiga has been competing on the professional scene since 2017. From 2022-2023, he represented OG, with whom he won ESL One Stockholm Dota Major 2022 and ESL One Malaysia 2022, as well as placing at many other championships. Le's last team was Bleed Esports - he represented the organization from November to December 2023, but failed to achieve outstanding results at competitions.
In October 2023, Le spoke about his gambling addiction and psychological problems. Tommy Taiga Lee wrote a candid post where he shared his personal problems after leaving the OG. It centered on the ludomania that the Norwegian player faced after The International 11.
