sQreen on Mosquito Clan’s technical loss: "Parker didn’t have the strength to finish the game"
The head of the Mosquito Clan’s Dota 2 division Khaled sQreen El-Habbash commented on the incident that occurred during the match against OG at FISSURE Special. According to a post on his personal Telegram channel, the technical defeat was caused by human error: David Parker Nicho Flores, who was temporarily standing in for the team, simply fell asleep at his computer.
sQreen noted that Parker agreed to help the team in an emergency situation and joined the match late at night local time. He emphasized that the player wasn’t prepared for such a schedule and, at the most crucial moment, couldn’t overcome his fatigue.
First of all, thanks to Parker for stepping in at such a late hour (it was already deep into the night in Peru) and playing as our stand-in. Secondly, by the time we played OG, it was already around 5 a.m. in Peru, and Parker wasn’t prepared in advance to stay up all night playing Dota — and at the key moment, he just didn’t have the strength to finish. After all, the human factor is unpredictable

Additionally, Khaled apologized to the tournament organizers and fans for the incident and said the team would continue to play with a full lineup moving forward.
I’d also like to apologize to the FISSURE Special organizers for this accidental tech loss and to the fans who were waiting for the game — I assure you, the next matches will be played with the full squad, from the bootcamp, and well-rested
Recall, the match between Mosquito Clan and OG was part of the FISSURE Special group stage. The South American team was supposed to play with a stand-in, but after the draft stage, David showed no activity despite a long pause. It was later revealed that the player had fallen asleep during the draft. As a result, Mosquito received a technical loss both on the map and in the series.
Earlier, CyberScore.live reported that Maelstorm commented on Night Pulse’s accusations against OG.
