Valeriy L3rich Kharitonov confirmed that Aurora Gaming will definitely make roster changes, although he did not specify which positions would be affected. He also added that one of the leading esports organizations could completely shut down its Dota 2 division, but did not reveal its name.

It is currently unknown what specific changes will take place in Aurora. There have previously been rumors about a possible roster rebuild, but the organization itself has yet to confirm any transfers following the end of the season.
The latest major organization to leave the professional Dota 2 scene was Tundra Esports. In June 2026, the club sold its entire roster to 1Win Team and later announced its withdrawal from competitive esports and transition to a media-focused project.
Before its departure, Tundra remained one of the top teams on the scene: the organization won The International 2022, while its roster also became champion of DreamLeague Season 28 and ESL One Birmingham 2026 during the 2026 season.
There are also rumors within the community that Miroslav Mira Kolpakov is considering retiring or taking a break, while Chung Ws Wei Shen and Oleg kaori Medvedok could leave the team.

The new Aurora Gaming roster could make its debut at BLAST Slam VIII, which will take place from 29.09.2026 to 11.10.2026 with a prize pool of $750,000. Direct invites to the tournament have yet to be announced, so the team's participation has not been confirmed.
