Team Spirit analyst shared tips on how to raise MMR in the current Dota 2 patch

Team Spirit analyst Mark sikle Lerman shared his recommendations for players looking to increase their Dota 2 rank during a personal livestream on Twitch. According to him, in the current patch, the most reasonable choice is to stick with easy-to-play heroes — such as Tidehunter, Weaver, and Jakiro.

Lerman emphasized that the key to success is maximum focus on farming. He explained that in the current patch, the most important thing is to farm consistently and play simple heroes.

Remember how to gain MMR. Pick the easiest heroes. The simpler, the better. Tides, Weavers. Jakiro — I don’t know, you still have to land your spells. This patch makes it really hard to push high ground. You have to farm. The map is huge, it’s hard for enemies to stop you from doing it

Despite sikle’s recommendations, statistics from DotaBuff show that the heroes he mentioned are not among the most meta. Currently, Weaver has a win rate of around 47%, Jakiro — about 48%. Only Tidehunter shows more stable results with a 51% win rate.
