Patch 7.41d and the new Quartero's Curios season have been released in Dota 2

On June 5, Valve released another update aimed at improving the game’s balance — 7.41d. Among other things, about twenty bugs were fixed.

It’s worth noting that the developers left a small hint, possibly regarding an upcoming event, in the description of the changes to Axe. The explanation for the nerf to the hero’s health regen states that his “Sense of Foreboding” has increased. Players speculate that Sorla Khan — a character who hunts Axe — may appear in the upcoming event. Data miners claim that the event won’t start until fall at the earliest, and that the Сompendium for The International 2026 could be released on July 17.

Gameplay Changes

Several general changes have been made: the radius of Rejuvenation Aura (health regeneration) at the Dire Fountain has been slightly increased. Self-Cast on Town Portal Scroll's Teleport and other similar abilities now place the hero slightly closer to the Ancient. The visual effects of Town Portal Scroll's Teleport and other similar abilities now partially follow the channeling unit if they move while using the teleport, for example: using Force Staff, TP during Ball Lightning (Storm Spirit), Waveform (Morphling), or if other movement abilities were used.

Only three items have changed: the recipe cost of Dagon and the damage bonus of Mage Slayer have been reduced, and using Smoke of Deceit now triggers a chat message for allies.

In addition, several Tier 4 and Tier 5 neutral items have been buffed. The Alert, Timeless, and Titanic enchantments have been nerfed, while Vital received a small buff.

As usual, the developers did not make any significant changes to the heroes in the "letter" patch. Popular characters have been nerfed, while forgotten heroes have received minor buffs. Hoodwink, Legion Commander, Invoker, Snapfire, Tiny, and Kez have been significantly nerfed, while Jakiro, Leshrac, Morphling, and Sven have received notable buffs. Quartero's Curios

Along with the release of the new patch, the new Quartero's Curios season has also launched, during which players can earn cosmetic sets for Broodmother, Venomancer, and Nyx Assassin. As in the previous season, players, as they progress, will receive antiques and seasonal in-game effects in addition to set pieces. The rarity that unlocks at level five is once again unique and contains Immortal or Arcana items.

As CyberScore reported earlier, Anti-Mage and Spectre were not picked even once at the tournament featuring the longest games.
