Anti-Mage and Spectre were never picked in the tournament with the longest games: final stats for DreamLeague Season 29

DreamLeague Season 29 has come to an end. PARIVISION emerged as the tournament champion, and CyberScore has compiled the final statistics for the championship.

Despite nerfs in patch 7.41c, Hoodwink and Rubick, just like in PGL Wallachia Season 8, remain the most frequently picked heroes. However, Pangolier took third place this time, having also received nerfs in several consecutive updates.

The list of the most banned and, at the same time, most contested heroes has completely changed compared to the previous tournament. Lone Druid was almost never unbanned, appearing in only 13 matches with a win rate of 53.85%. Clockwerk and Puck appeared much more frequently: in 43 and 45 games with win rates of 55.81% and 46.67%, respectively.

The most successful hero combinations on the lanes were Lich paired with Tiny or Muerta on the easy lane, as well as Timbersaw paired with Lion or Clockwerk and Beastmaster paired with Keeper of the Light on the hard lane.

Sixteen heroes were ignored at the championship: Abaddon, Arc Warden, Bounty Hunter, Dazzle, Dragon Knight, Earth Spirit, Ogre Magi, Omniknight, Outworld Destroyer, Pudge, Pugna, Riki, Vengeful Spirit, Visage, Wraith King, and even the incredibly versatile Disruptor.

It is worth noting that DreamLeague Season 29 featured the longest games of the current year among Tier 1 events, with an average match duration of 45 minutes. Over the course of the tournament, more than 500,000 creeps were killed, yet heroes such as Anti-Mage and Spectre were never picked, although each was banned once.

Other late-game carries — such as Medusa, Phantom Assassin, Juggernaut, Phantom Lancer, Slark, Morphling, and Troll Warlord — were picked only 1 to 4 times. Despite buffs in recent patches and the comfortable map duration, they still lag behind meta heroes.

DreamLeague Season 29 took place from 13.05.2026 to 24.05.2026 in an online format, with 16 teams competing for a prize pool of $1,000,000 and 28,300 EPT points.

Earlier, CyberScore presented statistics on new items in Patch 7.41b.
