The group stage of The International 2026 has concluded, and all teams advancing to the tournament’s playoffs have been determined. The main stage of the tournament kicks off on August 20, but in the meantime, we invite you to check out the statistics from the group stage of TI15.

Treant Protector and Earth Spirit can confidently be called the imbas of the group stage. Treant was contested on absolutely every map of the group stage. He managed to avoid being banned only eight times — seven of those maps resulted in victories. ES appeared in the picks much more frequently and became the hero with the best win rate in the tournament among heroes played in more than 15 games.

The most popular heroes, just as at the recent 1WIN Essence II, were Hoodwink, Centaur Warrunner, and Mirana. At the same time, the list of heroes with the worst win rates changed dramatically. This time, the least effective heroes were Slardar, Tusk, and Drow Ranger.

Only 15 heroes were not picked at all during the group stage of The International: Abaddon, Anti-Mage, Bristleback, Broodmother, Disruptor, Marci, Medusa, Meepo, Omniknight, Phantom Assassin, Skywrath Mage, Sniper, Venomancer, Warlock, and Wraith King. Most of them did not appear in 1W ESSENCE II either.

The best hero combinations were Mirana — Tiny in the safe lane (9 matches with a 66.67% win rate) and Centaur Warrunner — Dark Willow in the offlane (8 matches with a 75% win rate).

It’s worth noting that the best choice for a fantasy team during the group stage would have been PARIVISION core players: Alan Satanic Galyamov had the best statistics across several metrics (kills, deaths, GPM, creeps). In the mid lane, Artem Lorenof Melnik would have scored the most points, thanks to his excellent individual performance and the drawn-out Nigma Galaxy games. And the most effective supports in terms of fantasy points were the players from LGD, who had the best stats for wards placed, camps stacked, couriers killed, and stuns.
