Meta report: The best heroes in Patch 7.41f have been determined

A week has passed since the release of patch 7.41f, and the update has already significantly impacted the current meta. In this analysis, we’ll summarize the changes and highlight the best heroes for each position.

The top carries turned out to be heroes who weren’t affected at all by the latest update. They have displaced the meta-dominant first-position heroes — which received significant nerfs — such as Shadow Fiend, Spectre, and Kez.

At the same time, Invoker, Earth Spirit, and Keeper of the Light remain among the best midlaners, despite the nerfs in 7.41f. Players have also taken notice of Dragon Knight and Outworld Destroyer, who received buffs in several previous patches.

The list of the most effective offlaners has remained virtually unchanged, with the exception of Legion Commander, who has broken into the top 5. Meanwhile, the win rates of Underlord and Centaur Warrunner have plummeted following their nerfs.

Among support heroes, the nerfs in 7.41f significantly affected only Treant Protector. Otherwise, the list of the best supports remained nearly unchanged.

It’s worth noting that among the strongest carries in matchmaking at the current PGL Wallachia Season 9, only Sven is in high demand. Also standing out at the LAN tournament in Bucharest are Hoodwink and Mirana, who have win rates below 48% in matchmaking. But overall, the pro scene’s meta is similar to the current meta in pubs.
