Satanic rated changes of carry heroes in patch 7.39
PARIVISION's carry player Alan Satanic Gallyamov shared his thoughts on carry changes in patch 7.39 for Dota 2 during an interview on the DreamLeague Season 26 broadcast.
He gave his opinion on several heroes, including Faceless Void, Phantom Lancer, and Juggernaut:
Faceless Void, despite being buffed, remains a situational hero and should only be picked in suitable games. Phantom Lancer is currently very weak: he contributes nothing, performs poorly both in lane and teamfights. Juggernaut is still weak, although theoretically playable—it’s just unclear in what situations.
Finally, Templar Assassin, according to Satanic, remains a solid first-pick hero despite some nerfs:
Templar Assassin is still a first-pick hero. Yes, she was nerfed—especially her level 15 talent and Meld—but it's not that important. Right now, you can use the Refractor facet and lane well. The only issue is the level 15 talent, but it's not critical, since she can be played in multiple roles.
Satanic noted the strengthening of ranged heroes in patch 7.39 and expressed readiness to adapt to the meta changes by trying out new heroes in official matches.
DreamLeague Season 26 takes place from 19.05.2025 to 01.06.2025 online. Sixteen teams will raffle off a prize pool of $1,000,000. You can follow the competition in the report.
