Riyadh Masters 2025: dates, prize pool and first participant announced

The organizers of the annual Esports World Cup have revealed details of the Riyadh Masters 2025.

The Dota 2 Championship at the EWC will take place July 7-20 with 16 teams participating and competing for a $3,000,000 prize pool. The first invitation went to the reigning Riyadh Masters champions Gaimin Gladiators. Another eight invites will go to the best teams according to ESL leaderboard.

The remaining slots will go to the winners of qualifiers in Eastern and Western Europe, North and South America, Southeast Asia, MESA and China (one from each region).

Riyadh Masters 2025 will be divided into three stages. In the first, the participants will be divided into four groups where they will play each other in a round-robin system. The top 12 teams will qualify for the second stage (Gauntlet format). The eight strongest teams will play in the playoffs (Single Elimination).

As CyberScore reported earlier, Team Spirit, NAVI and Virtus.pro entered the Esports World Cup 2025 club support program.
