Former Old G player Roman Resolut1on Fominok confirmed that he could have joined Entity and Quest Esports after The Bali Major 2023. As a member of these teams he had to pass the closed qualifications for The International 12.
Resolut1on talked about a possible move to Entity before the qualifiers for The International 12:
"It's a very interesting situation. I also thought I was going to be on the "triple" in Entity, and Gabbi was taken. The situation was as follows: we agreed with them that they wanted me to join the team with Fishman, and I told them: "Guys, I haven't played Dota for a month". I was in a tilt after that situation with Old G and all that. I was like, "I want to play with you guys, but obviously I need to get in shape. And not only do I need to get in shape, but I'm going to The Bali Major 2023, I've been called to be an analyst, I kind of can't say no." And they're like, "Yeah, yeah, no problem. We'll wait for you."
I fly to the major, I even play standings there for BetBoom Team. At some point, when I was at the major [was], Fishman writes me, "Sorry, you don't play Dota. We'll take Gabbi." And he didn't say who he was going to take, he just said: "We'll take another player." Actually, honestly: I'm protected by the universe. The fact that I had the opportunity to play Entity, I didn't play there, I had the opportunity to play PSG Quest, I didn't play there - I'm glad it happened that way. I had a lot of internal stuff going on, a lot of elaboration, a lot of ... I got in touch with myself during that whole time, understood myself better, dealt with my other life situations there. And I'm kind of super happy about it.".
Resolut1on will attend The International 12 as an English-language Coverage studio talent. He has put his professional gaming career on hold for the time being.
As Cyberscore previously reported, PSG Quest sensationally left from The International 12 after the first phase of the group stage.
