“The GOAT Debate”: Quinn and INSaNiA shared who they consider to be the greatest players in Dota 2
Gaimin Gladiators midlaner Quinn Quinn Callahan said he considers Magomed Collapse Khalilov or Ilya Yatoro Mulyarchuk to be the greatest Dota 2 player. At the same time, Team Liquid support Aydin iNSaNiA Sarkohi named Johan N0tail Sundstein as the GOAT. The esports players compared the two-time The International champions during the podcast “The GOAT Debate - ALL CHAT Ep. 19” with Austin Cap Walsh.
Quinn: "I think either Collapse or Yatoro is the GOAT. Like I used to think it was other people but at this point I think it's for me it's almost indisputable that I think either one of them is the GOAT. As of now, as a team, I think you can make an argument for OG, and I think that's a reasonable argument. But as in terms of players, I think one of them is the GOAT, and I actually don't think it's close anymore. <...> I think it's Collapse. If I had to choose one between the teams, I think I'm going Spirit just because I think Dota is harder now than it's ever been."
iNSaNiA noted that for him, the achievements of OG with N0tail are more significant than those of Team Spirit because of the period in which the team dominated.
"I still feel like I would put the n0tail's achievements higher than theirs [Miposhka, Collapse and Yatoro] cuz I also think that was like the golden age of Dota or whatever you want to call it as well. I don't know if you guys agree with that, but I think it was like I would probably still put that slightly above, but pretty close. I would say it's definitely between the two of them. I don't think any other team is like really in the running. And there might be some bias because of like the time they did it, you know? I mean that that era was definitely more magical. It was just more of a nostalgia attached to it. I mean I personally."
Recall that during the podcast, Quinn also commented on the difference in play style between current carry GG Alimzhan Watson Islambekov and former team member Anton dyrachyo Shkredov.
As CyberScore reported earlier, Ceb nostalgically recalled the old OG roster.
