Poloson leaves Yakult Brothers – who will replace the player?
After mutual discussions, the Chinese esports organization Yakult Brothers announced that Wilson Poloson Koh Chin Wei, who played as the position 5 support, has left the team.
His place in the roster has been taken by Jiang Tianming An, who will represent the team in upcoming tournaments. The management emphasized that the decision was made amicably and with full respect for the players’ wishes.
We are grateful to Poloson for his contribution and teamwork - together we’ve experienced highs and lows. At the same time, we are happy to welcome Tianming and hope his experience will bring new energy to the team and help us reach new heights, the organization stated.
Tianming was already part of the team from the end of 2024 until late spring 2025. At that time, he represented the team as a stand-in and managed to finish 6th at BLAST SLAM II with the roster.
Organization also noted that, despite a difficult start to the season and inconsistent results, it continues to work on improving coordination and tactics while maintaining confidence in the club future.
Recently, the team placed 12th at BLAST SLAM IV and 16th at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, where they qualified through the Chinese regional qualifiers. At the main event of the year, The International 2025, Yakult Brothers finished 13th, ending their run in the group stage.
It is also worth noting that the team’s losing streak at major tournaments has reached 13 consecutive matches, signaling the need for roster changes.
The next tournament for the updated Yakult Brothers roster will be PGL Wallachia Season 6, where the team received a direct invitation. At the moment, the tournament schedule and the name of their first opponent remain unknown.
