Shadow Fiend was completely ignored at PGL Wallachia Season 8: Final Stats and Tournament Meta

PGL Wallachia Season 8 has come to an end. BetBoom Team emerged as the tournament champion, and CyberScore has compiled the final statistics for the championship.

Patch 7.41, which was released during ESL One Birmingham 2026, has already had a significant impact on the meta of PGL Wallachia Season 8. For example, Shadow Fiend — the second most popular hero in PGL Wallachia Season 7 — was never picked or banned in this tournament. The nerfed Largo is also no longer popular.

The most universal supports were picked most often again, but now those roles are filled by Hoodwink and Rubick. Tiny also made it into the top picks, now performing well in both carry and mid lanes. Alchemist became the most banned hero, although his win rate across the 19 matches he appeared in was only 36.84%.
