MOUZ eliminated Team Spirit from BLAST SLAM IV
After a long break, the playoff stage of BLAST SLAM IV resumed, featuring a match between MOUZ and Team Spirit. In the end, MOUZ came out on top, eliminating the “dragons” from the tournament. Spirit finished 5–6th and earned $50,000 in prize money.
The first map went in favor of MOUZ and was highlighted by a rampage from midlaner Zheng MidOne Yeik Nai on Nature’s Prophet at the 8-minute mark. Despite being behind by more than 16,000 gold, the team managed to turn the game around and secure the win. The second map was tougher, as MOUZ couldn’t keep up with their opponents, allowing Spirit to equalize the score and push the series to a decisive third map.
The final game turned out to be the most intense - MOUZ maintained control for most of the match, but Spirit managed to steal Aegis twice from Roshan’s pit, giving them a chance to fight back. However, despite their efforts, the “dragons” couldn’t withstand the pressure and lost the series, exiting the tournament.
It is worth noting that Ilya Yatoro Mulyarchuk lost on Medusa for the first time in 9 professional matches. The streak lasted 7 months, with his previous defeat on this hero dating back to the ESL One Raleigh 2025 grand final against PARIVISION, which took place in April of this year.
