Morf investigation about Taiga: reaction of the Dota 2 community

A recent investigation by blogger Morf about former OG player Tommy Taiga Le's involvement in rigged matches has gotten a lot of attention from the Dota 2 community. The investigative video garnered over 300,000 views in 2 days.

One of the first to react was the OG itself. The organization condemned the actions and behavior of Taiga, due to the evidence provided.

Content-maker Dmitry finargot Plusnin believes that Taiga is in for hard times in connection with the published material.

"322 is a stigma, and it's a tough one now. If in the days of Solo he suffered, but got away with it, he was given a second chance. Now everything is already on such a scale that no large organization will not want to work with you, because it has serious reputational risks. Taiga is just still young, many people at his age fall for easy money, especially when you are still a ludomaniac. I don't know how he will get out of this, but the next couple of years will be hell for him".

Vladimir RodjER Nikoghosyan said he borrowed money from Taiga because he didn't know he was betting.

"I lent him money without knowing that he was betting. Then I was told that he owed a lot of people. I immediately realized that I had to withdraw as soon as possible. I told him let's you give it back as soon as you can. While I was on LAN, I was shaking him down. If I didn't ask him for it back, he would have, understandably, denied it."

"A case that shows you have to be careful with betting in that even a pro player with good prize money and a salary managed to get into debt. Play, but don't get carried away!
