OG condemned Taiga after an investigation from Morf

The esports organization OG has responded to a recent investigation by Morf, in which it cited evidence that a former player of the team, Tommy Taiga Le, was involved in rigged matches. The statement was posted on the club's page on the X.

According to the representatives, they conducted their own investigation back in 2023, immediately after rumors about Taiga and his gambling addiction emerged. However, at that time, they failed to find direct evidence of the player's involvement in match-fixing.

"Following rumors about Taiga in 2023, we immediately raised the concern to ESL, PGL and Valve, whlist also following guidance advice of legal counsel. During this process, still without clear evidence, we were required to re-introduce him to the roster to finish the DPC season."

Also, given the new details, the organizers noted that they condemned Tommy's behavior and explained why they had remained neutral all this time.

"We maintained neutrality on this issue because we issue without substantial evidence to the contrary, being conscious of unsubstantiated claims on Taiga's reputation and career. OG will always stand for competitive integrity and condemn Taiga's actions and behaviour in light of this evidence."

Earlier, Cyberscore reported that in October 2023, Taiga talked about his gambling addiction and his condition after leaving OG. According to the player, he lost more than he earned in his career.
