Miracle will replace Abed as part of Shopify Rebellion at DreamLeague Season 20

Amer Miracle Al-Barkawi has joined Shopify Rebellion as a standin for DreamLeague Season 20. Previously, he was inactivated and only played for Nigma Galaxy last season in DreamLeague S19. Miracle will replace Abed Abed Yusop, as the Filipino player is having trouble getting a visa to Europe. 

Since September 2022, Miracle has not played permanently. He left Nigma Galaxy after his departure from European qualification for The International 11. Seven months later, Miracle returned to Nigma Galaxy for DreamLeague Season 19, but the team failed to make it out of the group and finished 13-14th. 

Last DreamLeague Season 19 Shopify Rebellion also played with a replacement. Instead of Abed, Mickey was there and he managed to make it to the top 3 and earn $120,000 for the team. Shopify Rebellion's first match in the revamped lineup for DreamLeague Season 20 will be June 11 and will face Gaimin Gladiators. 

DreamLeague Season 20 will take place from June 11-25 online, with teams on bootcamps in Europe. The championship prize pool is $1 million and 2 trips to the Riyadh Masters 2023 with $15 million in prize money. In order for Shopify Rebellion to qualify for the Riyadh Masters 2023, they will only need to pass the first group stage.
